Sami teaches jazz music to people who are serious about learning. Usually he focuses on a hefty load of classical music for sound and technique, and jazzwise, he begins with the solid foundation of the early jazz tradition, so that the student understands the basics of the music. This never stops, but only added upon. The more advanced lessons also include more contemporary practices with a heavy focus on advanced rhythmic techniques, contemporary harmony, advanced improvisational techniques, arranging, etc. |
