Carl is a professional Pianist and Lecturer at City College in Coventry and teaches a range of musical styles.
He is able to provide traditional music lessons but his speciality is Pop, Rock and Jazz genres. Carl has taken students from grade one through to eight as well as worked with musicians who have trained with him to become better musicians and others who have gone on to become
professional full time performers.
He is friendly and enthusiastic and is able to create a detailed monthly plan to ensure you climb quickly and smoothly to a high standard.
In all of his lessons Carl encourages performance techniques, music reading (score and lead sheet) as well as theory and improvisation.
He prefers taking on students of an intermediate standard but is more than willing to teach absolute beginners as well. |
