I have an LRAM diploma in Piano teaching from the Royal Academy of Music, and have been a professional teacher since 1976. I teach technique through a programme of selected works at each level, using Classical, Contemporary and Jazz style pieces for this purpose. I believe that technique is the servant of music, and that the emphasis should be on musical expression and understanding, not the accumulation of a few Pianistic tricks. Preparation for all grades of Associated Board and Trinity Guildhall exams is offered. |

Private lessons bought in blocks of 6, paid in advance. Lessons missed with 24hours notice can be credited, and a make-up lesson offered when appropriate. |
