I graduated from Gliera Institute of Music in Kiev, Ukraine(former Soviet Republic), Alma Mater of many prominent musicians, such as pianist Vladimir Horowitz, famous pianist, composer and teacher Leonid Nikolaev (teacher of D.Shostakovych), famous piano teacher Anna Artobolevska, P.Tchaikovsky‘s pupil and friend, violinist Yosyp Kotek, famous Ukrainian performer and teacher, bayan-player Mykola Rizol, and many,many others...
I have been teaching since 1977.
Also I worked at Kiev Musical Theatre and Kiev Children Choir.
My teaching includes piano performance, theory, sight reading, playing by ear and music history(in short).
At present time I work at Christ United Methodist Church as a pianist. |
