Additional Info: Ms. Comune is a faculty member at Westminster Conservatory of Music - Young Artist Program as a Chamber Coach and for performance classes, private piano and accompanist for voice and instrumentalists in Princeton, NJ. She recently judged for MTNA - NJ Auditions, Shore Music Educators Association and for PBCMTA Original Competition, 2011.

Ms. Comune has an active private piano studio for over 35 years in Boston, MA; Palm Beach County in Jupiter, FL; presently Easton, PA.

I have dedicated my life to music and committed to making a difference by enriching my student’s lives using outstanding pedagogical skills. Since 1973, I have taught, coached and accompanied hundreds of students, many of whom have been recipients of achievement awards, winners of competitions
for performance, and placement in gifted schools and conservatories of music. I have served as an adjudicator in numerous competitions for piano performance and composition. My studio is designed and concerned with students’ overall development as well as their musicianship.


She is a former piano faculty member, accompanist and chamber coach at New England Conservatory Preparatory School of Music; Berklee College of Music; New School of Music, Massachusetts; Conservatory of Music at Lynn University, Florida and continues a private studio. Ms. Comune is a member of the New England Piano Teachers Association, Music Teachers National Association, PBCMTA, FSMTA, NJMTA, PMTA and the PBC Cultural Council.
In 1996-2000, Ms. Comune was Competition Scholarship Chair for Palm Beach County Music Teachers Association and in 2004-2005 Commissioning Composer Chair for Florida State Music Teachers Association. She has been a frequent presenter for PBCMTA with topics that focus on “Teaching the Young Contemporary Music” and “Composing”.
