I am a highly experienced pianist and piano accompanist and teacher. I hold a B.Mus Honours degree from Edinburgh University and my postgraduate studies were at the Royal College of Music where I gained the Dip.(RCM) Teaching qualification. I give regular solo recitals as well as accompanying instrumentalists and singers, and playing chamber music. I can sight read anything! I am a Senior House Pianist at AIMS International Summer School in Eastbourne, where I have repetiteured many opera scenes, and also work with choirs and opera groups including Polymnia and City Chamber Choir, as well as Aeolian Singers in Hemel Hempstead (where I am deputy conductor as well as accompanist) and Chiltern Choir in Chorleywood. I am also a regular accompanist at Jackdaws Educational Trust in Somerset, where I have worked with the tenor Ian Partridge and the mezzo Sarah Walker. In addition, I have done such diverse things as playing background music in London hotels and restaurants and touring the UK and Channel Islands with the Lewis London Ballet.
