Additional Info: Alexandra Kremakova is a London-based pianist, harpsichordist and piano teacher.

Her repertoire ranges from Renaissance and Baroque to Modern and Experimental music. Recent concerts include a theatrical performance of 'Crossing Dartmoor', song cycle for tenor and piano by Australian-born composer Caitlin Rowley as part of Tete-a-Tete 2015 festival; a solo harpsichord recital in Hammerweood Park; 'Musical Cabinet of Curiosities', a piano recital at the British Maritime Museum, and a performance of Liszt Piano concerto no.2 under the baton of Martyn Brabbins, as well as numerous other solo and chamber music recitals.

As well as a soloist Alexandra often performs as an accompanist and chamber musician.

Alexandra completed her MMus degree in Piano Performance at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, London as a Leverhulme Scholar, as well as a Postgraduate Artist Diploma course under the supervision of Martino Tirimo, and recently graduated from an Advanced Independent Study Programme in the same conservatoire, working with Mikhail Kazakevich. In 2013 she was the winner of Trinity Laban Soloist's Competition and performed with the conservatoire orchestra.

Previously, she completed with honours her Bachelor degree in Piano Performance in the National Music Academy in Sofia, Bulgaria, in the class of Marina Kapatzinskaya.

Alexandra started playing the piano at the age of five and her debut as a soloist was at the age of nine. She has performed in venues such as Barbican Centre, National Maritime Museum, Old Royal Naval College Chapel, Blackheath Halls, among others.

She discovered her passion for early music in 2002 when she performed J.S.Bach's Keyboard Concerto in F minor. In 2012 she was the first student to complete a specialisation course in harpsichord in National Music Academy Sofia under the tuition of Margarita Krysteva. She has performed as a soloist as well as a continuo player. As a harpsichordist she has performed in venues such as Handel House, ORNC Chapel of St Peter and St Paul, ORNC King William's Court, Morley College, Dartington Hall, Hamerwood Park.

Alexandra also works as a church organist.
She is a prizewinner in over 20 national and international competitions and has received awards from Bulgarian Ministry of Culture, Bourgas Municipality and Bourgas Rotary Club. In 2010, 2011, 2013 and 2015 she was awarded a bursary to attend Dartington International Summer School.

She has taken part in the masterclasses of many renowned musicians including Adolfo Barabino, Albert Tarakanov, Georg Schenk, Ludmil Angelov, Michael Schreider, Martin Kasik, Martino Tirimo, Maurizio Moretti, Pancho Vladigeroff-Junior, Paolo Pollice, Pascal Roge, Ruth Harte (piano), Colin Booth, Colin Tilney, Steven Devine, Carole Cerasi, Nathaniel Mander, Katarzyna Kowalik, Sophie Yates (harpsichord); Caren de Pastel (organ).

Alexandra is a passionate piano teacher. She teaches from beginner to diploma level, and provides a versatile and laid-back approach tailoring lessons individually according to each student's needs. She also teaches music theory and improvisation.
